The 8th Conference on Sustainable Mobility (CSuM 2026) will take place on 1–3 July 2026 on Skyros Island, bringing together experts and stakeholders from across the sustainable transport ecosystem. Organised by the University of Thessaly (Department of Civil Engineering, Traffic, Transportation and Logistics Laboratory TTLog), in collaboration with the University of Kentucky and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, the conference serves as an international platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and dissemination of best practices in sustainable mobility.
Under the theme “Green and Digital Transition”, CSuM 2026 will explore how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, big data, automation, and connectivity can be integrated with renewable energy, low-emission solutions, and forward-looking policies to reshape transport systems. The programme will bring together researchers, policymakers, industry representatives, service providers, and students, offering opportunities for interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration. In addition to in-person participation, the conference will also offer a virtual attendance option, ensuring broader accessibility and engagement.
Events such as CSuM 2026 highlight the growing importance of aligning digital innovation with sustainability goals, supporting the transition toward more efficient, resilient, and environmentally responsible mobility systems.
